Description
The house opens up to a welcoming open plan space with lounge and dining area, an ideal configuration for entertaining with friends and family. The lounge presents comfy seating, TV (only portuguese channels), DVD player, fireplace and large patio doors that take you to the private terrace and garden . The dining area can sit 4 and the kitchen is equipped with everything you may need to cook nice homemade meals during your stay. The owner has kindly provided a highchair and travel cot for groups travelling with babies.
There are 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with a bunk bed.
Outside, you have your private garden and terrace where you will find outdoor furniture for dining outside, a parasol and a barbecue grill, which you are free to use.
If you come in the colder months, there is central heating to provide a warm and comfortable stay.
Please know that pets are not allowed in this property.
The ideal location, only 350 metres from the stunning Óbidos lagoon and all the surrounding wonders of this area, are definitely one of the main features of this property. Vau is an enchanting village with roots of farming and fishing which are still very evident. There are several beaches to choose from, all beautiful and with breathtaking views. This is a perfect choice for those that wish to enjoy and contemplate the abounding untouched marvels of nature that Portugal has to offer.
Please be aware that the tourist tax payable in this municipality is included in the rental price (The value of the tax is € 1 for each guest - aged 13 years and over - per night, up to a maximum of 5 consecutive nights in the same accommodation).
Please note, we can only accept bookings from guests aged 21 years or older.

Refundable Security Deposit: € 150
- The refundable security deposit is returned to you 2 weeks after your stay.
Christmas/New Year Season:
- Christmas/New Year bookings of less than 1 week, over this period, will be charged for 1 week and the security deposit increases to € 300.
Cancellation Policy:
- Cancellation fee of 20% of the booking up to 5 weeks before the holiday, and 100% when the holiday is less than 5 weeks away.

La casa tiene todo lo que hace falta para unas vacaciones tranquilas y cómodas en familia. Tiene espacio para jugar, para descansar, tomar el sol y está cerca de Aldeia dos Pescadores (5 minutos en coche) donde se puede ir a la playa, comprar en el supermercado y comer o cenar con mucha, mucha calidad. Como sugerencia, la posibilidad de tener 2 juegos de llaves para facilitar la logística y mosquiteros en las ventanas para impedir que terminemos todos picados al final de las vacaciones.
Quiet stay at the Óbidos Lagoon
La maison est conforme à la description et pleine de charme. Elle est aussi très bien situé et très agréable séjour à Óbidos.
The house is as described and full of charm. It is also very well located and a very pleasant stay in Óbidos.
Everything is great, but without a bike or car you can get stuck there. No good supermarket nearby. Accommodation was great.

Logement fonctionnel, propre et bien équipé. Situé dans un quartier calme à proximité de la lagune et idéal pour le kite. Petit jardin privatif. L'endroit est magnifique et sauvage, pas trop touristique en basse saison, une belle découverte.
Functional, clean and well-equipped accommodation. Located in a quiet area near the lagoon and ideal for kitesurfing. Small private garden. The area is beautiful and wild, not too touristy in low season, a great discovery.

Quiet Neighborhood
Quiet neighborhood near the lagoon, good area. Parking in front of the house. The downside is that there is no grocery store nearby.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans ce logement spacieux et fonctionnel. La key box a bien été pratique à notre arrivée. Rental Retreats est un entreprise sérieuse , nous recommandons ce logement pour un séjour au calme. Le voiture est cependant nécessaire pour tout déplacement.
We had a pleasant stay in this spacious and functional accommodation. The key box was very practical upon our arrival. Rental Retreats is a serious company, we recommend this accommodation for a quiet stay. However, a car is necessary every time you need to go somewhere.
Gostamos muito da nossa estadia. Sempre bom para passar férias calmas. O único ponto negativo é não ter nenhum café perto que da sempre jeito. De resto aconselhamos a visitarem.
Good stay
We really enjoyed our stay. Always a good option for a peaceful holiday. The only negative point is that there is no cafe nearby, which is always useful. Otherwise, we advise you to visit.
The house has everything you need for a quiet and comfortable family vacation. It has space to play, to rest, to sunbathe and is close to Aldeia dos Pescadores (5 minutes by car) where you can go to the beach, buy in the supermarket and have lunch or dinner with a lot of quality.
As a suggestion, the possibility of having 2 sets of keys to facilitate logistics and mosquito nets on the windows to prevent us from ending up all bitten at the end of the holiday.
