The apartment is extremely well arranged and equipped.
The apartment is arranged as three bedrooms, two living areas,
kitchen and 2 bathrooms (one of which is en-suite to the master
bedroom. Bedroom 1 has a double bed and en-suite shower room.
Bedroom 2 has a double bed and Bedroom 3 has single beds. The owner
also offers bedding to sleep an additional guest on an additional
blow up bed (please request this on booking).
If you have a baby, a highchair and a travel cot can be provided
(you must bring your own bed linen for the cot). Please request
this when booking.
There is an additional family bathroom with bath and shower over,
WC and basin. If you need a cot please request this on booking,
there is a cot available for use. A hairdryer has also been
provided.
If you're looking for an apartment where you can get outside then
look no further. There are 4 private balconies for you to
enjoy.
Inside the apartment you have a TV with Portuguese cable channels,
a DVD player and DVDs, free Wi-Fi and a comfy sofas. You may use
the fireplace if you need it (just buy your own wood). There is a
dining table with chairs for 6 and you can bring chairs in from
outside if you need to cater for more guests. The owner had also
provided a highchair for very young children.
The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need
including an all important dish washer to make life easier. The
owner even provided a cool box should you take a picnic to the
beach.
For parking you have 2 private spaces in the secure underground
car park.
The owners have thoughfully arranged for a couple of bicycles,
which you are free to use and some tennis rackets, so you may have
some fun at the communal tennis court of the complex.
The complex is close enough to the action but far enough away to
get apart from it. You can walk for 8 minsand arrive at the beach
and bars and restaurants. There is a small grocery shop a few mins
walk away and you can drive to the big supermarket in just 2
mins.
All in all a great option for your Sao Martinho Do Porto stay.

LOCATION
São Martinho do Porto is a prestigious destination that appeals primarily to families and couples. The beach offers many water sports activities, including a giant inflatable playground on water. Additionally, there is a complimentary beachside playground situated in a picturesque grassy area along the bay.
São Martinho is a beautiful small village, with a shell shaped bay. Due to its particular shape, the bay is the ideal beach for families with small children, as the strong sea current characteristic of the Atlantic ocean is not present here..
Just a stroll away along the coast line and you'll find Salir do Porto River beach, which has the river streaming to the ocean and is also perfect for families due to its calm waters.

Excelente comunicação com a Rental Retreats antes, durante e após a nossa estadia. Enviaram-nos instruções da casa bem como recomendações locais. A casa é exatamente igual às fotos: divisões espaçosas e excelente espaço exterior (piscina e court de ténis). A máquina de café (de cápsulas) presente na casa é da marca continente e só é compatível com cápsulas da mesma marca. Em São Martinho do Porto, só existe intermarché, por isso fica a dica :) Não estava presente, na casa, o grelhador (que está nas fotos). Alguma da loiça não estava totalmente limpa. No geral, as condições da casa e do condomínio são muito boas e passamos uma excelente semana.
Excellent communication with Rental Retreats before, during and after our stay. They sent us directions to the house as well as local recommendations. The house is exactly the same as the photos: spacious rooms and excellent outdoor space (swimming pool and tennis court). The coffee maker (with capsules) present in the house is from the Continente brand and is only compatible with capsules from the same brand. In São Martinho do Porto, there is only intermarché, so here's a tip :) There was no barbecue in the house (which is in the photos). Some of the dishes were not completely clean. Overall, the condition of the house and condominium is very good and we had a great week.

Great apartment for big families. Really nice for kids, with lots to do around - including a tennis court and a playground downstairs. The host was super nice, responsive and helped us with all the things. The last day we were able to checkout super late which was amazing because we could enjoy the entire day at the beach. We will definitely come back!

Muy buena ubicación para ir a visitar sitios, Bien para 6 personas muy amplio , salón cocina y 2 baños. Eso si los muebles del baño estaban un poco desencajados. Y estaba un poco sucio quizá de no haber estado alquilado y de la última vez que se limpio. La anfitriona nos facilitó dos calefacciones porque no funcionaba la calefacción y nos la trajo en seguida. En general la estancia fue muy buena y volvería.
Very good location for visiting places. Good for 6 people, very spacious, living room, kitchen and 2 bathrooms. That said, the bathroom furniture was a bit out of place. And it was a bit dirty, perhaps it had not been rented for a while and it had been a while since it had been cleaned. The hostess provided us with two heaters because the heating was not working and brought it to us right away. Overall the stay was very good and I would return.
Excelente apartamento, com necessidade de alguma manutenção, portas e estores. A máquina de lavar loiça tinha problemas. E os comandos dos portões também. Aspeto tb a melhorar a limpeza. Mesmo assim valeu a pena.
Family holiday
Excellent apartment, in need of some maintenance, doors and shutters. The dishwasher had problems. The gate controls too. Something else to improve would be the cleaning. Still, it was worth it.

The accommodation was good, a bit far from the city centre, the weather a bit unstable but pleasant.
Havia um cheiro incomodo na cozinha parecia esgoto , melhorou com alguns produtos de limpeza. No anuncio parece haver no quarto do meio uma cama de casal e uma de solteiro, mas na realidade são duas de solteiro.

There was an unpleasant smell in the kitchen that seemed like sewage, which improved with some cleaning products. From the pictures, it looks like there is a double bed and a single bed in the middle room, but in reality there are two single beds.

In general, everything was as advertised. We were without a dishwasher for 2 days as it had broken down and the shower hose in the bathroom was broken.

A lovely apartment and a great base to explore the area. So many nice places to visit for sightseeing and great beaches for families. The pool and play area in the grounds of the apartment are great for entertaining children too. A lovely welcome from Nicola who was very helpful. Apartment was beautifully clean and has everything you could need. A lot bigger than the pictures suggest. Great parking. Suggest you have a hire car to explore the area as public transport is slow (although other people in a neighbouring apartment were using taxis to get around the region and found this to be cheaper). The town itself is great, not the prettiest but great places to eat/drink and a beautiful view across the stunning bay and lovely beaches.
