DIRECTIONS FROM LISBON AIRPORT

NOTE: You will come across some road tolls. You must stop at them all!  Do not go through the green lane as this is for cars that have pre-paid. When you get to the first one just touch the silver button and a card will come out. Keep that card until you get to the next one where you will need to stop again and pay the attendant. You will need just approximately 8 Euros to get to Nazaré.

If you get lost in Lisbon

If you get lost and can't see any signs for the A8 OESTE then follow signs to LEIRIA or LOURES as this is in the right direction and should get you onto the A8 OESTE.

- ... Once on the A8 you continue to Follow the A8 for about 1h10 mins,

- At Junction 22 you leave the A8 where Nazaré is signposted.

- At the first roundabout follow signs to Nazaré by turning turn right onto the N8-4.

- Go past two roundabouts, follow towards Nazaré. Drive about (1.4 km)

- Slight right onto IC9. Drive for about (4.2 km)

- At the roundabout, take the 1st exit. Drive for about (1.5 km)

- Drive to Av. RaínhaSanta Isabel/N242 in Pataias. Drive for about (8.4 km)

- As your approaching the roundabout you will see an carstand on your left.

- At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Estr. de Paredes. Drive for about 9.6 km

- Turn left onto R. da Pintanheira (Pedra do Ouro)

- At the roundabout, take the 1st exit then an immediate right

- Drive for another 70 meters. The complex is on your right. You have arrived. 

CHECK-IN

Check-in is starts at 16:00.

If no other guests have used the apartment on the day that you arrive you can access the apartment at an earlier time. Please contact the property management agency, so they may tell you at what time you be able to access the apartment.

Key Safe

Once you reach the apartment block, your apartment is on the ground floor and you should find, attached to the fence that gives access to the condo garage, a Key Safe similar to the one on the image below. 

PLEASE NOTE: Five days before your expected day of arrival we will be sending you a code so you can open the key safe. If you don't receive this code, please let us know.
To open the Key Safe, it is necessary to enter the code so that you can access the keys of the Property, and then slide the tab on the left indicated by the red arrow (as shown in the image). Then close the Key Safe again and shuffle the combination for security reasons.

ASSISTANCE DURING YOUR STAY

If you need assistance during your stay, please contact Miguel  +351912506600 or  WhatsApp. That being said, please note that this type of intervention has a cost of € 25 per hour from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Monday through Friday or € 40 per hour at any other time.If you need help because there is a problem at the property, then this amount will not be charged. Replacement key sets will cost € 45.

Unplanned visits to recover lost keys will incur an additional charge of € 25 (at 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. during the week) or € 40 at any other time.

 

CHECK OUT

The day of your departure,you will need to leave the apartment by 10:00 am. 

It may be possible to leave the apartment after 10:00 if no one uses it the same day you leave. Confirm any late check-out with a Miguel or Paula, one or two days before to see if it will be possible.

To check out and if nothing else is agreed upon, we ask that you leave the property keys again in Key Safe and close it and re-shuffle the code for security reasons, so nobody can open it unless with the code.

Before leaving the property, please:

  • Clean your dishes and remove waste from the property.
  • Close and latch all windows and doors.
  • Turn off all lights, and TV
  • Double check to confirm you don't leave any personal belongings behind

 

INSIDE THE PROPERTY 

The property should be clean with clean bedding on the beds and clean towels. If you find anything not to your  satisfaction please inform the property managers when you arrive. 

Make yourself at home! The apartment has been well equipped in order to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Please have a good look around -open up all the cupboards, drawers and wardrobes so that you know exactly what is in the apartment.

EMERGENCY SITUATIONS

Fuse Box
The fuse box is found by the front door of the apartment.

   

Safety Equipment
Please ensure that you become familiar with where the fire extinguisher, fire blanket and First-Aid kit are located, in case needed.

 

Water Leak
If you have a leak of water then please turn the mains stopcock off and call Miguel or Paula. The main control for the water is found in a white box just outside of the apartment. Most outlets for the water can be individually isolated (i.e. there are valves on the pipes leading to the sinks /toilets which can be turned to prevent water getting to the unit).

 

GENERAL INFORMATION

Breakages
We understand if everyday items such as glasses, plates etc., may get accidentally broken. Please leave a note detailing any broken items so that they can be replaced for the next guest.

 

Door & Locks
Never leave a key in the lock on the inside of the front door. If a key is left in the lock on the inside of the front door, it will not be possible to open the door with another key.
When going out for long periods of time, please make sure you secure the villa by locking doors and windows.
When using the balconies please be careful not to shut the sliding door behind you completely or it may lock you out if the catch is on. Similarly, be careful to ensure all sliding doors are locked before leaving the property.

 

Drains
To ensure that the drains do not become blocked, please dispose of nappies, sanitary towels and cleaning wipes with  the general  household waste.

 

Shutters
There are shutters on all windows. We recommend you leave these shut in the day if you are out so the apartment remains secure and cool. 

 

Smoking
The property is strictly NON-SMOKING and we ask our guests to respect this policy. Please feel free to smoke outside, but please be responsible when disposing of cigarette ends. Also, take care when smoking near open windows. Due to the extra cleaning and ventilation required, there is a 100€ charge for smoking in the house.

 

Spillages
Please  be quick to clean up any spillages to help prevent damage.

 

THE COMPLEX

Bins
We respectfully ask that you keep the  apartment free from excess refuse.  Please dispose of your refuse on a regular basis so  that it does not attract insects.  In Portugal, there are large bins on the street for disposal of general household waste.  For recycling, the yellow containers that you see on the streets are for plastic and metal, the blue containers are for  paper and cardboard and  the green containers are for glass. On the roads nearby you will see large green waste bins for general refuse. There are also recycling facilities for metal, cardboard, paper and plastic. 

 

Parking
Normally there is a free parking space in front of the apartment. 

 

Swimming Pool 

You are free to access the swimming pool area.

Pool Safety:

  • Use of the pool is at your own risk.
  • Please supervise children at all times. Do not rely on floatation devices to keep children safe.
  • It is prohibited to use sharp or glass objects in the pool area, or eat next to the pool.
  • Please do not dive from the side of the pool.
  • There is a shallow end and a deep end to the pool.
