HOW TO GET TO VILAMOURA FROM FARO AIRPORT

If you're arriving by plane at Faro Airport, considering you're traveling with your friends or family, renting a taxi might be a good option. You can contact the property manager so he/she can book a transfer for you, at a reasonably cheap rate, with a local taxi service. 

 

CHECK-IN

You can check-in after 17:00. 

Please tell us what time your flight gets in and when you expect to get to there. Allow 45 minutes to get from Faro to Vilamoura.

When you are in your car or taxi and about to leave please call Vera or Daniela  +351919535951 or  WhatsApp . If you have any problems try the main office on +351289302169 

If other guests are using the property on the day that you arrive, you can check-in after 17:00. If no other guests have used the property on the day that you arrive you can access the property at an earlier time. Please confirm with the property managers.

SAPvillas office closes at 7pm but you can arrive at any time as Vera or Daniela will return to the office if necessary.

(*) Please note that if you arrive after 19:00, outside the office hours, you will be charged a supplementary fee:
• Arriving between 19:00 and 23:00 - €25.00
• Arriving between 23:00 and 08:00 - €40.00

Please be aware that the property managers are organising their day according to the expected arrival times that they are given. If you find that you are delayed or that there are any changes to your arrival time, please be sure to get in touch with the property manager by phone or SMS. This will help to ensure that you are met on arrival without any problems.

YOUR DEPARTURE

The day of your departure, you will need to leave the apartment by 11:00 am. 

Please contact SAPvillas a day before your departure to inform them the time that you expect to leave, so a property manager can be present at the time of your expected departure.

Before leaving the property, please:

  • Clean your dishes and remove waste from the property.
  • Turn off all lights, and TV
  • Double check to confirm you don't leave any personal belongings behind
  • If, due to unpredictable circumstances, no property manager is able to meet you at check-out, make sure to close and latch all doors and windows, and leave the keys on top of the dinning table.

 

INSIDE THE PROPERTY 

The property should be clean with clean bedding on the beds and clean towels. If you find anything not to your  satisfaction please inform the property managers as soon as possible after your arrival. 

Make yourself at home! The apartment has been well equipped in order to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Please have a good look around;  open up all the cupboards, drawers and wardrobes so that you know exactly what is in the apartment.

EMERGENCY SITUATIONS

Fuse Box
The fuse box is found by the front door of the apartment.

     

Safety Equipment
Please ensure that you become familiar with where the fire extinguisher, fire blanket and First-Aid kit are located, in case needed.

 

Water Leak
If you have a leak of water then please turn the mains stopcock off and call SAPVillas. The main control for the water is found in a white box just outside of the apartment. Most outlets for the water can be individually isolated (i.e. there are valves on the pipes leading to the sinks /toilets which can be turned to prevent water getting to the unit).

 

GENERAL INFORMATION

Breakages
We understand if everyday items such as glasses, plates etc., may get accidentally broken. Please leave a note detailing any broken items so that they can be replaced for the next guest.

 

Door & Locks
Never leave a key in the lock on the inside of the front door. If a key is left in the lock on the inside of the front door, it will not be possible to open the door with another key.
When going out for long periods of time, please make sure you secure the property by locking doors and windows.
When using the balconies please be careful not to shut the sliding door behind you completely or it may lock you out if the catch is on. Similarly, be careful to ensure all sliding doors are locked before leaving the property.

 

Drains
To ensure that the drains do not become blocked, please dispose of nappies, sanitary towels and cleaning wipes with  the general  household waste.

 

Shutters
If the property has shutter, we recommend you leave these shut in the day if you are out so the apartment remains secure and cool. 

 

Smoking
The property is strictly NON-SMOKING and we ask our guests to respect this policy. Please feel free to smoke outside, but please be responsible when disposing of cigarette ends. Also, take care when smoking near open windows. Due to the extra cleaning and ventilation required, there is a 100€ charge for smoking in the house.

 

Spillages
Please  be quick to clean up any spillages to help prevent damage.

 

Wi-Fi 
The property has Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi name and Security Code is found on the router next to the TV.  

 

THE COMPLEX

Bins
We respectfully ask that you keep the apartment free from excess refuse.  Please dispose of your refuse on a regular basis so  that it does not attract insects.  In Portugal, there are large bins on the street for disposal of general household waste.  For recycling, the yellow containers that you see on the streets are for plastic and metal, the blue containers are for  paper and cardboard and  the green containers are for glass. The nearest bins can be found going out the ground floor Entrance back door, then turning left., around the corner. 

 

Swimming Pools 

You have free access to the swimming pool area.

Outdoor (Shared)

  • Adults - 12m x 7m; Depth: minimum 0.70m | maximum 2.40m
  • Children - 8m x 4m; Depth: 0.60m
  • Shared sunbeds. First come, first served.
  • Pool Opening Times: 08:00 - 20:00

Pool Safety:

  • Use of the pool is at your own risk.
  • Please supervise children at all times. Do not rely on floatation devices to keep children safe.
  • It is prohibited to use sharp or glass objects in the pool area, or eat next to the pool.
  • Please do not dive from the side of the pool.
  • There is a shallow end and a deep end to the pool.

 

Parking
The apartment benefits from free parking access to a restricted parking area in the complex. Use the remote control supplied to open the barrier. Limited parking spaces. Conditioned access to guests and owners.
