Ericeira is perhaps one of the best shopping villages along the Silver Coast. As you weave through the cobbled streets, you will find everything from independent surf labels to handmade Portuguese shoes. All roads lead to Praça da República, a lively square lined with cafes and plenty of trees for a respite in the shade.

For a truly local experience, head to the Ericeira Market. It is open most days until 3PM and even stays open as late as 8PM on Friday and Saturday nights. Don't miss the upstairs section for great local crafts and handmade gifts sure to please your family and friends back home.
